Cross Stitch

I started doing cross stitch when I bought a cross stitch kit for my birthday - "Santa on a Postage Stamp". After that I became interested in samplers, oriental rug designs and then, finally, fine art paintings in cross stitch.

This was my first big challenging cross stitch. It took 26 months to complete. The original painting is called Miranda and was painted by Sir Frank Dicksee.
